Dr. Jack Marzec is a specialist in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic and open Surgical Management of the shoulder, knee, elbow and ankle. He is a clinical professor of surgery at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and has staff privileges at Long Island Jewish Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Catherine Hospital. He cares for several sports teams, serving as Team Physician for the Long Island Ducks, Team Physician for the Harlem Globe Trotter East Coast Team and Orthopaedic Consultant to the New York Lizard Major League Lacrosse team. He also serves as Chief Medical Officer for the West Islip School District, as well as team physician for the West Islip High School.

After completion of his Residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Marzec completed a one year sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Hughston Sports Medicine Hospital, specializing in shoulder, knee, elbow and ankle sports related injuries. Dr. Marzec had the privilege of being trained by Dr. Jack Hughston, Dr. Glen C. Terry and Dr. James Andrews, while at the Hughston Sports Medicine Hospital.

Dr. Marzec is the Developer and Founder of the South Shore Surgery Center, in Bay Shore New York, and serves Medical Director. It is a state of the art multi-specialty surgery center, utilizing a full array of cutting edge technology to care for not only his patients, but all patients in the community with any type of surgical need.
